What part of your life needs renewal? What needs to be repaired? What is broken down or no longer serves you?  According to the dictionary, renewal is, “The replacing or repair of something that is worn out, run-down or broken.”

Life is full of the old, but the new wants to enter your life too. Does the new have space to enter your life or is the old, worn out, and broken-down all that you know?

Make this new year a time for renewal. Make a commitment to yourself to renew your life, your body, your mind, and spirit. Repair or release old relationships, repair your aching body, restore your brain and uplift your spirit.

Setting intentions for renewal are different than new year’s eve resolutions. Committing to renewal means you are making an authentic commitment to yourself. You deserve to feel better, to be happier, to live the life that you were meant to live.

Sometimes it might be only one area in our life that needs a lift or adjustment. Sometimes our entire life needs to be renewed. We need to clear out negative or destructive relationships, bad habits or unhealthy life patterns that weigh us down or rob us of energy. Whatever it is that needs renewal, set an intention to fix it.

Our bodies, emotions, and mind speak to us constantly. Our bodies wear out, our spirit dwindles, we lose interest, we get tired and become exhausted.  Do you ignore the guidance of your own body and inner spirit? If you do, make the commitment to listen closely this year.

Are you ready to make some serious life changes?  If so, I invite you to step into renewal in a way that you have never done before.

  • Write a renewal commitment to yourself
  • Identify the areas of your life that need renewal
  • Set the intention that every day you will take at least one action
  • Document or log your progress as your life transforms

Renewal does not have to happen at the first of a year, but can arrive any time or day that you chose to take your life into your own hands. What part of you is crying out for renewal?  Maybe your family, your relationships, your physical body, your connection to god or higher power, your professional calling or career path?  There are so many areas and so many ways to renew, if only you learn to listen.  Again, your body, mind and spirit are always telling you what needs to change, shift or release.  Trust this guidance, as it is your own inner compass.  No one knows you better than you do yourself.

Is it time for a 2024 life renewal?
